About
I was born and adopted at birth in Scotland. When I was six weeks old I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
My husband, Richard, and I met when we were students in Edinburgh and we’ve been married for 34 years.
We’ve lived in the Bay Area for 30 years, but Scotland is still home. I am there virtually every day, via the Internet.
My adoptive parents died a few years ago.
I’m in contact with my birthmother for ten years and she visited me in March.

Hi, I was very interested in your blob and thought that you might be interested in our Doric books — “Teach Yourself Doric”, “Doric for Swots”, “Doric Proverbs and Sayings” and “A Doric Dictionary”. We can ship anywhere in the world. If you were interested in linking/mentioning them on your site, we would be happy to send you a free Teach Yourself Doric tape. Anyway, this is not a hard sell, I just thought you might be interested in the books (details on our website: http://www.scottishbooks.com).
Best wishes,
Avril

HI, Thanks for your comment on our blog. My son also had CP. It is great to hear that you are living your life even with CP. You make my heart sing.
Big blessings to you.
